The psychology of babies and the young is to react to situations based off of parents or any adult’s actions. For example, if a baby is hit by a ball, even if it doesn’t hurt, if the parents make a fuss and act like the baby got a grave injury, the baby will start acting accordingly as if it is greatly distressed. The situation with ISHOWSPEED is a great example of this at 2:12 you can see that the baby although startled does not seem to be as distressed and cry until it observed, for a decent faction of time, speed himself becoming super alarmed as he probably showed it greatly through his face, tone, body movement and language especially bc he has to overreact for content and other purposes
