Mrs Sharmila Tagore is a fantastic conversationalist. With due respect to her, I just could not fathom the purpose of this episode. Mr Sibal was all over the place - with I-know-it-all attitude and the condescending remark about, where are the Orson Welles? Well, where are the Pandit Nehrujis and Sardar Patelji in politics and the Abraham Lincolns in legal practise?, I ask. Best to leave it to professionals who know how to present a show and make it interesting and insightful for viewers. Last but not the least, leave politics behind for once when you have such an interesting subject in front.

Animal was not a bad movie. In fact, it is anti-establishment movie. I got that revelation when watching Karan Thapar's interview of Avay Shukla. Animal movie portrayed a police-rikth duniya which is what modi ki duniya is all about. Swayam vichar kijiye !!! Samaj mein aajayega. Sandeep Reddy Vanga had said after election, he's going to make 'Welcome to Animal World'. I am sure what I understood of the movie is what Sandeep Reddy Vanga aimed at. I wish I could know what exactly he was trying to portray.

Think of the times when movies like Farz Safar Golmaal Anand Yaadon ki baarat Don't Choti si baat Chitchor Sholay Namakharam Sharabi Chashmebadoor Dewaar Pakezah Daag Guddi Mili Aap ki kasam Prem kahani Aradhana Angoor Saransh Khubsurat Nadiya ke paar Yarana To name only a few Nowadays, movie-going has become a nightmare. Every other movie is a godimovie. Movie watching at 🏡 or movie going at audis is no longer available as an option for relaxation. We are looking out for new avenues for entertainment with hardly any options other than travel which is expensive so can't afford it all the time.

Sorry, a lot of time wasted.Sibal as an interviewer is unable to eschew his political clothes when he continuously tries to steer Sharmila on to his planned areas to hear his own conclusions.Sharmila tries steering out of this minefield to bring in her own carefully thought out experiences without much impact because she is uncomfortable in this pre-meditated conversation.It never grows easily.And seems awkward and forced.To make something appear as an unprepared and natural meeting and keep an engaging talk going needs skill which is neither of the courtroom or a Lok Sabha. Both have done better otherwise in other settings.This one just doesn't quite get going.
