Compression fittings fit in the rad i just stick an elbow in then a bit of pipe and chuck it in

Could you not have used the magnetic filter to introduce the CT1 seal into the system?

It's an oil boiler outside and the filter is in the boiler, the ground is all dug up around it. But the ideal place for the leak seal is the Flow not the return when the filter is on. You want it to go to rads before it goes to the boiler. It even mentions that in instructions

I fixed a crack in a 60 year old cast iron HX in a floor standing boiler about a year ago using 2 bottles , it’s still sealed and not a drip... I highly recommend this stuff.... 👍

@@illuminate06 8 rads + cylinder open vented , it was ancient but working ok , customer couldn’t afford to upgrade... 👍
