Hey, it's Illinois. One of the few locations where not only do you get all the weather-related drawbacks of the southern states, but you also get the cold-ass winters and road salt of the northern states too. @@Toxicwastesu I find it funny that the vast majority of stock trucks pulling I see breaking tie rods are GM and not Ford or Dodge... Heck in this video an old Ford outpulled the GMC with a broken hub! Brand loyalty is funny - not talking about you in particular but just a lot of the Chevy fanbois say the same thing. I like NBS/OBS GM trucks but I wouldn't for a second not admit they have shit suspension components from the factory. Hell I'll give you a free one. I've never had a single problem off road with my XJ....but the factory steering box is garbage - hasn't broken, just sloppy and loose (which happens to be a GM designed Saginaw box. Funny.). Doesn't matter who makes it - all of them have their own problems. Good luck with your Duramax's tie rods. I'm upgrading my Jeep's to be safe. Nice Cummins btw.

Looks like you may need to look at your rules for drive lines. Rules around us are that you have to have loops minimum 1/2" wide by 1/4" thick on each part of driveshaft to keep it from flying around if you break a u-joint. Also have to have 1/16" steel bands 3" wide around the u-joints (360 degrees) to keep shrapnel from hurting someone. Great work on the video though! Pickup pullers definitely help keep those local parts stores going!
