They are never going to bring them out to California, so I guess I will just have to travel to see a live show.

@farmcentralohio5 жыл бұрын
I agree with you, one thing to keep in mind is that some of the time they would prefer to let the fire go out on it's own instead of getting the ex. chemicals all over everything. and if it's pumping fuel out of a line or something you might as well let it burn itself out. Fire ex. does seem to be something they have never quite figured out in pulling but it's also fire and and an engine and happens different ways every time. and some of the fuel used is impossible to put out with a fire ex.

I film 4800 hooks a year 4+ leagues nearly only 100 things ever happen like this. It just isn't enough practice to be good at the thing. Man, they can operate a whole season or more (hundreds of vehicles) without a single fire. Hell, it's so rare, most of them don't even remember where the fire extinguishers are, or whose job it is to get one. The ones I love are the ones that nearly kill the drivers. They are the best, or the ones that explode, or catch on fire, and nearly kill the driver as well. Highly entertaining when that happens.

That IH Farmall at 10:05 is the most catastrophic of any catastrophic failure I have ever seen! I didn't know that an engine could so quickly and completely disassemble itself! Everything blew apart and fell out the bottom of that thing! Also that first poor flag guy is sooo lucky because he came within inches of getting his leg crushed and pinned by that blue dodge. That one is just scary to think about.

That facility has since moved the barriers apart a small portion to allow the flagger to escape without jumping.

Well they damn sure named the Mini right, Outta Control... They need steering brakes of some sort for when the front is off the ground.

Diff lock
@super69545 жыл бұрын
@@peterbond3628 If you lock the rear axle you are in trouble steering on a pull tractor or any farm tractor for that matter if the traction (grip) is not even across both tires. Pull tractors in particular will torque steer as one rear wheel tries to lift more than the other in some circumstances or if the track not even for some reason. Independent brakes on an axle that is locked don't work to change direction if you push one, so you can't brake correct the opposite way if it starts going off the line of direction you want. especially if the front steering wheels won't correct it for any reason like being off the ground. I used to run a farm type pull tractor and have steered down a 300 ft track with the fronts off the ground using those independent brakes that you couldn't do with a "diff locked" as touching one pedal would just slow both wheels the same amount.

normally all Tractors in pulling sport have single breaks for each wheel. at least in europe
