I always park the truck with my mechanic in otay mesa and go home to tijuana 😂 whats the average drivers make weekly with the company?thinking on park my truck for the whole year and do something new and go with central oregon and wait if rates go up next year. How long was orientation? 13 years driving but 0 experience on Flatbed
@tollboothjimmytrucking. Жыл бұрын
64 cent a mile forever. Loyalty pay increase your pay and it paid out every years which I like. Avg miles is 2800 to 3400 miles a week plus usually two tarps pay at $100. Orientation is 3 1/2 pay $1250 and you load out on Thursday.

I do my loads the same way. I usually get to my 01 and park on site so im off duty the whole time. And same for the 90. I'm trying to give prime a full clock to work with. But whats so annoying is that sometimes when im waiting for hrs on a load it ends up being a pickup at the 01 late in the evening or night like 8-12pm and del at the 01 the next morning. An overnt run. So i give them a full clock and stay up waiting on a load and this is what you give me? Sometimes ill say no and sometimes ill take it. But if i say no then i piss off sales and get another load the next day that doesnt pickup until the following day. But this is the reefer side. BTW that was the worst place to park at right in front of the truck entrance to the docks. Some people have no clue and could care less. Total ass hats. Never block the truck entrance or exit or docks.
@tollboothjimmytrucking. Жыл бұрын
That is one of the big reason I left prime is the waiting for the load. Work hard and you get a crap load.

Too bad you cant see what the actual revenue for these loads is. That way we can see which company has better paying freight. Im also curious to see how long the preplanning ahead of time lasts since ur the new guy.
@tollboothjimmytrucking. Жыл бұрын
I don’t mind anymore I get paid really good as a company driver. Cotc pays you $100 if you don’t a load in the first hour of being unloaded.
@northwestbanshee3194 Жыл бұрын

Hows that KW drive compared to the Freight? Comfort, turn radius? Congrats on the new job! Company looks like a good one~
@tollboothjimmytrucking. Жыл бұрын
Love it the kw. The turns and backing is so easy and the ride is wayyyyyyy better then freightliner.
