I prefer carpet over blankets but having both is the best option.

I think where your aunt lives in Kansas had more snow than what we gotten here in southern Wisconsin I think we gotten 12 inches so far this winter season but it’s all melting again

I think she said they got 16 inch of snow but most of it melted too
