He’s supposed to stand for equal rights and social justice yet signs a contract with nike who has child slave labor sweatshops. You don’t see the hypocrisy in that you’re ignorant. Especially if you think Nike gives a fuck about black ppl. All they saw is an opportunity to make money off black ppl that think like you. You’re nothing but a consumer. And they're only given publicity because the media is building up the Anti-Trump rhetoric. The American government doesn't give a fuck about the masses, unless it fits their needs. Btw, America is a prison industrial complex that constantly needs criminal activity. So they will want this activity to keep going on in order to maintain that infrastructures. It is a job providing industry that the government will protect.

Happened to me 10 years years ago in niagra falls. I was locked up for a week then on house arrest for months. I was found not guilty after video footage proved I wasn't there. If you google my name you will find articles saying I was arrested for rape. I've succumbed to farm work picking mushrooms because no other job will hire me. Why do I feel lucky?

When I was 13 I was wrongfully accused of assault and battery, grand theft robbery and extortion. I did time and probation. The accuser eventually tried to tell the truth to the courts but they weren’t trying to hear it. I was deep in the system. Ruined my high school football dreams and aspirations. It cut me deep and still hurts. I fought back through my music. They used to confiscate my writings because I tried to be a voice for the voiceless. I always spoke out against the private prison industry. I experienced it first hand. I can’t imagine what these guys felt. Much respect. Stay positive. #SchoolsNotPrisons

Jimmy John man you’re talking about a single mother and a 15 year old boy. It’s easy to throw stones in a glass house. They weren’t given 30 years to ponder this, recount and study the events. Imagine you’ve sent your child off to school, you go to work and here later that day your child is accused of being involved in a rape... hindsight is always 20/20

Dr. Alan Rothschild that is not the same thing. Their actions should be taken into serious account because it is THEIR DUTY to defend and protect the people regardless of what religion, race, gender, sexuality etc. Unfortunately, in the process of defending the jogger, the boys had another thing coming. It is a shame that there are people who are making excuses for “the authorities” when the truth of the matter is that they broke their oath to protect the people in more than one way. First, they failed to protect these innocent children by falsely accusing them and they ultimately stole their lives from them without having tangible evidence against them. Secondly, in the process of accusing these boys, they failed to protect the other victims of Matias Reyes, who were attacked in the days after the jogger incident, because they convinced themselves that they had the right people while the real perpetrator was free to commit more crimes. One thing should be set straight. It is the JOB of police, detectives, lawyers to find the TRUTH. If they know that something is false, it is their OBLIGATION to reveal and not conceal the truth. So, it would be ignorant to compare this to the injustice that happened to African Americans because it is simply not the same. Both are tragic and speak volumes on what kind of people we are but they are completely different cases.

@biancadoesthis

Rafii Guasp NO. Kap took a knee in solidarity with his fellow African-Americans AGAINST police brutality yes, AS WELL AS our immoral justice system and incarceration of African-Americans due to wrongful convictions. This system has never been “just” towards African-Americans, and I’m not sure when it will ever be. And when you refer to “perfect storm”... are you implying that these boys shouldn’t have been there & that because this horrific act took place on the same night they were there, that it was kinda their fault? They were young boys roaming the park and hanging out, which is what all kids do. Though it may’ve been the “wrong place wrong time”, that in no way justifies these crooked cops choosing these 5 kids (out of 30 that were also there) & trying to pin what they knew was wrong, onto them. But what makes your statement come off wrong is that you didn’t ask why the jogger was alone that late at night... but why the black kids were there.... it makes neither party wrong, but I’m just breaking your statement down.

The Central Park 5 went through a lot, but how are you gonna be ignorant and dumb enough to just act as if she didn't either? She has NO MEMORY of this. Wrongfully convicted or not, can you blame her for not wanting to meet the ppl that, she thought at the time, were her possible rapists??? Put yourself in her shoes. Yes she's helping ppl now and still did some interviews, but wouldn't you just want to move on? She was beaten, raped, and left for dead, and then on top of all of that was in a coma for 12 days. No. Netflix released lies! Nothing more than a propaganda piece to help the demonrats 2020 election. Anything to get Trump out of office. This "kids" weren't guilty of the rape but they were out there robbing and beating people. Watch the full interviews.
@nunya258

@@lawdawg194 First of all in the full interviews they never said they were beating and robbing people they were ACCUSED of it. Second of all, they were convicted of RAPE and attempted murder, so let's just say for one minute they did do what you mentioned, why charge them with something they didnt do? Because of them being charged for that crime, Reyes was able to rape more women and kill one of them while her children were in the room next door. Her kids should sue New York City as well, if they would have done their job, Reyes would have never killed their mother.

@@nunya258 You're replying to a person who couldn't care less about the truth. He's angry that his God (Trump) is getting a bad reputation over the criminal and immoral acts that he actually commits. And would still rather crucify these innocent black men, instead of admitting his false idol is even slightly crooked. And I say all that to say this, you're wasting your time. Fuck him and his opinion, in the whole scheme of shit, his word doesn't mean a God damn thing.

Aku Sika Ok. So where was god at when they were going through this?? Y’all Jesus lovers kill me with this bullshit. When they (falsely) going to prison, it’s the devil. But when they get out after losing *years* of their lives-time that they can *never* get back it’s Jesus. Really?? If Jesus is all so powerful why can’t he stop the devil from doing his dirt in the first place? Let that sink in. And don’t come at me with that whole “free will“ bullshit. Because that pregnant woman who was raped and murdered I’m sure her “will” was to be left alone and not to be raped and murdered. So what makes the rapist’s “free will” stronger than hers? I mean If all men are equal in god’s eyes?? SMH. It’s 2019 y’all need to come off that Cheeto truck. For real.

Some people got hit in the back of the head like a professor found with a wound and bled profusely like his head got dipped in a bucket of blood, and that's in the actual report. Javis Henry, We shouldn't allow them to use our struggles to facilitate their agenda, it is easy for them to go after black folks and apparently not so, easy to go after their own or they would have been thrown him out of office. The only reason this story is getting shine now is to add more logs to the fire that they hope will light his a*** on fire.
