Prosecutors had no DNA and little evidence that matched the teenagers to the crime, the attack, or the scene. But each teenager -- except for Salaam -- had made statements or open confessions about Meili’s attack, implicating themselves or each other. "Kevin Richardson had a scratch under his eye, so the detectives asked him, 'How did you get the scratch under your eye?'" said former New York City detective Eric Reynolds. Richardson replied on the videotaped interrogation: Richardson: I got in the way. She got kind of like scratched me a little bit. Prosecutor Elizabeth Lederer: Let me just ask you, you’re saying that she scratched you and you’re indicating a place on your face? Richardson: Yeh, I think it’s on me right here.

@Boris Notbadenov2 innocent until proven guilty, boris. where is the evidence? there was no DNA, there were no witnesses to the crime in which they were accused of, the videos were coerced and the only reason why people have doubts about that is because the police that broke the law and knew that they did buried the video evidences with excuses like "oh the cameras weren't working". Reyes came forward because he knew Korey and the other five were innocent and wanted to repent his sins, he is a better man (even though he is a criminal) than people like you who choose to believe in lies because of your privilege and ignorance. you have obviously never experienced anything remotely similar to the racism and injustice that these men have gone through, and millions others like them. AND you should read a bit more because they were and are exonerated. being exonerated is a state of being under the law and it is objective not based on your opinion.

Trump aint said nothing against a white supremacist who beat and tried to kidnap a young black woman. That trial is going on now.. Her family was 1st generation immigrants a black girl. She was beat so bad she coughed up blood and needed a heart transplant. Not one news station or radio station picked it up. Even though with the Epstein case child trafficking is not being paid attention to. Please spread the word

You think he should have spent more time in jail? Nah they got it about right.
@sh4hr4him2 жыл бұрын
To forgive someone they need to first sincerely apologise. The scum prosecutor’s and law enforcement don’t even have the decency and humanity to look at themselves and accept they went down a path of their choosing that would ruin many innocent lives. Once they apologise and accept guilt (like they kept asking Korey and the others do) then maybe these guys can look at forgiving. May these guys live a happy and blessed life, living miracles.

@@ChoosenGemini I hope both of your sons get picked up with a scratch on their face claiming the almost dead jogger did it too.... seems like its all you can raise anyways.. here are some facts: Prosecutors had no DNA and little evidence that matched the teenagers to the crime, the attack, or the scene.
