So many talented designers and different styles...I can see some of the looks on the red carpet, they are very futuristic, but a bunch of outfits didn't seem comfortable for the models / wearable. I love them tho, keep designing!!

it’s like some kind of printed holographic vinyl or something, it could be layered up too idk. Im a designer too but I don’t know much about textiles and printing beyond screen printing, shibori dyeing, different weaving patterns, and like basic materials like cotton vs nylon etc. I wouldn’t know where to begin with the textiles she used. I too hope to find an answer tho cuz I’ve had ideas like this a long time

What you guys need to understand is that some of them are avant garde, not ready to wear. As fashion students, what they need to show from collection is not making wearable garment, but expressing your idea through your own unique way. That's what they need to do to be hired by companies or launch their own brand. If it were already existing brand's fashion show, there would have been additional process to make the design commercial and industrial. What industrial people look forward to seeing from the student's collection is the potential that their design can be interpreted to more public and commercial design. So some of them are actually already wearable but most of them, you guys are not actually seeing garment you usually wear.
