If disc golf ever really takes off they have some good commentators. Having active pros to the commentary is unique in pro sports. I guess it is only possible with post production. Philo's commentary has come a long way. He did some back in 2018 at Sula open and I couldn't listen to it. Now his commentary is like he is providing a window into the player's mind - very good - Uli offers similar insights. Only critique - needs to sprinkle in a few other adverbs to replace absolutely and maybe shouldn't sound too contradictory when Ian say's something coming from a am perspective.
@NRafa7 Жыл бұрын
At 7:48. I love Philo but come on, Chris stepped on a leaf. It wasn't a foot fault. Seems like he's looking for faults out there instead of just commentating. I love your commentary btw.

@@tomwalters3159 Even in his warm up, the disc moves. He does not look at his lie one time to make sure he is correct on it. I would have to say, based on my limited knowledge, he is on the mini, and therefore, a foot fault.

The reason there so fast is its hard to keep disc dry. It might of been easier for them if caddies were allowed. I played in a tournament the weekend Katrina hit and it poured in NY, i was so wet i ended up playing barefoot and shot one of my best rounds.

7:44 - great pickup by Philo on Chris breaking the putting rules again. Once again, this is an accidental breaking of the rules, but it's done due to improper care and attention to the rules, which requires you to keep clear of your mini. When you are taking your putting stance behind your mini, you should always give yourself 5cm from your shoe to your mini. In this way, you're demonstrating proper respect for the rules, and your cardmates, by not asking them to minutely examine your stance, and your mini when you are putting.
