Just wanna pause here on No.7 and say that Philo is dropping so many tips and great advice. I’m gleaning a lot from truly listening to what he has to say. Would be thrilled to get some one on one coaching from Philo some day. Until then, I’m literally writing down my notes from his commentary and keeping that piece of paper in my bag to reflect on.

I don't mean to be overly critical, but I have a question. Is the footage sped up at points? Hole 3 caught my eye several ways/times. Maybe it's frame rate, maybe it's Maybelline(TM), but something in the release speeds and disc flights makes my brain feel funny. In any case, thank you CCDG for providing this footage. A treat, to be sure.

Could someone explain the mando dance thing Simon was having to do on hole 7? Maybe what rules I should be looking at to get around this.

804.02.D: "The nearest mandatory whose mandatory line is crossed by the line between the lie and the target is considered to be the target for all rules related to marking the lie, stance, obstacles, and relief." The line from Simon's disc to the basket crossed on the wrong side of the mando. Therefore, the new line of play is from the disc to the mando object instead of disc to basket. He has to plant one point of contact behind the disc on that new line of play, and his other points of contact have to be farther from the mando object than the back of his marker.

This would of taken place 2 weeks ago. The week before the pro tour finals. The DGPT probably had rights to the coverage so it had to be delayed so the DG Network could get all the Initial views. CCDG are the real heroes
