My peach tree has not flowered in a couple of years after we had a strong freeze in Houston. Can you recommend what you think I need to do to help my tree? Thank you for any help.

I’m in southeast Texas just north of Houston; I have tons of native Texas peach saplings about 4 feet tall so when should I dig them up for transportation?
@CentralTexasGardener3 жыл бұрын
I'd move them when it's a bit cooler--in the next month or so.

I got pecans the second year but squirrels got them all. They not just took them but they wasted a lot by scattering everywhere in my yard

I'm near Staples, TX. Can you grow pineapple guava here and get fruit?
@Gumgumdropbuttns4 жыл бұрын
I just watched a video on growing a pineapple tree. You should get your fruit in 28 months. But it was highly suggested that you purchase a whiskey barrel pot. Remove the crown excess flesh, let it sit in a small container of water for a few days until you get decent roots and transfer to your large pot. You want to use a soil that drains really well, prune leaves that turn yell, keep your plant watered 2x a week, and make sure your plant gets 8-10 hours of sun.

Does anybody have success with apricots in the San Antonio to Austin area? What lime is best for this area?
@coolbananaboy50754 жыл бұрын
I tried twice - in San Antonio - gave up after 4 years. Can't remember what type of apricot it was supposed to be for a climate like central Texas but they still struggled. Maybe a plumcot will do better.
