Thoroughly enjoyed this series...thank you very much, Dr Ram Manohar for this enlightening talk. Your articulation has definitely succeeded in bringing your viewers closer to the approach of Ayurveda. Much respect and thanks for conveying so well the vastness and depth of this knowledge system. As Mark Twain once said "India is the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend, and the great-grandmother of tradition. Our most valuable and most instructive materials in the history of man are treasured up in India only."

Profound ! What a flow with clarity ! My key take aways :1 > Definition of Swasthya 2 > Ability to sleep well is a prerequisite for meditation 3 > Idea that mind is spread everywhere in body 4 > Awareness -mind-body relationship and the importance of going upwards to achieve the higher goal.. to equate I'ness to awareness..to disconnect it from body.. As a side note, never seen this wonderful speaker on Malayalam channels !

Naman, Ram ji. I am highly upset by the things which you mentioned that AYUERVEDA IS NOT HINDU, NO RELATION TO Hindu.... Because of such talks Breaking Bhartiya forces take advantage of our Gyan n claim it as their own. This happened with our YOGA, OUR BHARATNATAYAM, OUR CARNATIC MUSIC, OUR BHARTIYA PSYCHOLOGY, OUR BHARTIYA PHILOSOPHY, AND MANY MANY MORE... WHY Can't we Sanatani be fearless n bold enough to claim n assert our GYAN? You know these kind of thought n ideology of our intellectuals led to CHRISTIAN YOGA, CHIRSTIAN BHARATNATYAM, CHRISTIAN CARNATIC , CHRISTIAN VEDA, ISLAMIC YOGA, JEWISH YOGA.....Plz read the books named BREAKING INDIA and BEING DIFFERENT by pandit Rajiv Malhotra ji. ALL those who have stolen from us are asserting it more fearlessly as their own thing and we r still living in some imaginary world..... You will be surprised to know how much loss n poverty comes out of not claiming our GYAN. Do you know the major psychology, mind science, cognitive science, neuro science etc all are stole from our Gyan? Rishi Patanjali was the 1st mind scientist, psychologists? Do you know till late 17th century Europe had no sense of GRAMMAR. THEY learned all the Grammar from our Rishi Panini's Grammar? Ayurveda, has mantra uchcharan and sadhana in few treatments...You know better ....Do you think shlok and mantra etc are not HINDU ? Please don't mind...But in public platform if you will say this then already confused Sanatani will get more confused further. I would like to learn from you Ayurveda which 100 % HINDU HINDU HINDU.... Pranam.

I WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGREE. Sanatana Dharma is universsal. But no one , I repeat NO ONE has the right to strip it off of its origin. We can't "secularize" every good thing that sanatana dharma offers. This is blatantly disrespectful! If people can't respect and accept sanatana dharma, then they must STOP appropriating its practices and knowledge!! Enough of this nonsense!! Yoga, Ayurveda is sanatani!!! IT IS HINDU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
