Amazing way to explain the rotation of gut, i would like you to add in this model to show the midgut rotates inside the umbilical cord (1st rotation), and about its growth outside into small intestines

Hello, these videos are very useful and I want my friends who don't speak English to be able to understand them, is it okay for me to share this video with subtitles on my own youtube account? I tried adding subtitles to this video on your channel but since "community contrubition" is not allowed on your channel I wasn't able to add subtitles to the video itself. Also, thank you very much for these awesome videos.

How can a the colon ascendens and colon descendes which both are retroparitenal have a meson? Is it not so that only the intraparitenal strucutres like colon transversus has a meso !?
@opgobee
@opgobee 6 жыл бұрын
Please see the 'Read more' section 'Why is it named 'retroperitoneal'? at the bottom of www.anatomytool.org/content/secondary-retroperitoneal that refers to the article 'The mesocolon,....' by Culligan, 2014. Whether the ascending and descending mesocolon still exist (or should be named as such) postnatally is a matter of debate. Traditionally anatomically: no; but surgically they can be easily mobilised and this is daily practice in colonic surgery. I hope this helps!
