This is the issue ygo has with making going 2nd decks. They need all these insane going 2nd mechanics that are braindead since going first full combo is so incredibly overpowered imo. Feels like its the only way to give a strict go second deck a fighting chance.

It doesn't matter. The Cent player was winning every time he got to the synchro 12. The issue with Cent is to get to that point. And Blazar is clearly better than Nova in almost every scenario.

@@shirohiruka what you are saying is just not correct. played like 50 games or so vs tenpai by now. it someone depends on the build of the tenpai player but if they play board breaker, your best option is super nova. if you go crimson dragon, following thing will happen: cent player build board: tenpai: "call end main1?" cent: shit, need to summon crimson in main - now if you crimson on empty board => impern, so you hold crimson tenpai: raigeki? crimson into super nova. okay lets say you did crimson into blazar=> Tenpai: raigeki?! cent: blazar tenpai, cool, aktivate lightning storm for backrow, fieldspell get everything on board, battle phase, gg supernova wins this type of games

Nah man. Tenpai is just everything what's wrong with modern Yugioh. It runs 25 board breakers+handtraps, very hard to interact with, and personally i don't like OTK deck in general.
