A battle of attrition against the strongest army in the game. Roman units are Consular Armys = 6000 infantry + 600 cavalry, Parthian Army has 2400 cavalry.

This is like the grandfather of Total War. I remember being a little kid and watch my cousin play this game. Good old memories! It helped me get into History and Ancient Rome.

worst strategy ever and on of the worst generals.^^ If you play on Emperor lvl its best to use Scipio Africanus who is top or Cornelius Scipio, Marius or Pompei the Great. But even with a General of Voice 10 you can beat them, it all depends on the strategy. Your first was very bad. ok so you just sacrificed 2 legions with no strategy used to weaken them to win the last battle? lol :) Marius was enough to beat them alone on this lvl. Next time use balanced army and standfast. then form a line and use your cav to outflank them and kill their flanks. Marius has to be in the center behind the frontline, so u can make use of his aura and command your cav at both flanks. Infantry as mentioned has to form a line and reserve infantry should be focussed at the sides to crush them, when they break through the center. Same strategy goes for the scythians as they have the same army outfit.

@@melchiorvonsternberg844 thx, it was one of my favorite games in the old Amiga Days and i played it a lot. And when i saw this video i reactivated my Amiga and played it again after more than 25 years. It is still fun to play. Especially on Emperor and i still like the races. I guess that´s what is called Nostalgia. :)

Can you show this in an actual video? I seriously doubt your line can hold long enough for the cavalry to bring them all down. Can't see how it's possible with just one legion. Like at all.
