Generally the question of hobbies and interests when mentioned in any form or asked in an interview it seems very easy or kind of less important to many people as they often think that anything and everything can be written or said as an answer to this question. I also disagree with the point of saying watching movies as waste of time. Who goes cinema hall for movies today sir? This is 2024, every person has access to KZbin, Internet, OTT apps. one can watch the shows and movies on the go. I do watch one or two episodes of a Show daily in my gym while doing cardio ( running on treadmill and cycling). Watching movies is not a waste of time, its just your Point of View. Watching movies of different genres can teach us about History, Culture, Drama etc. Along with entertainment it's the best source to get knowledge apart from reading books. Human mind is more susceptible to visual interaction so why can't we add it in the hobby. Most of the English I learnt in my life, movies and shows are major part of that. By watching English movies and shows I overcame my fear of English. If I have improved various positive aspects of my life through some activity and still improving then why won't I mention it on my hobby? Please don't confuse children. That's my personal opinion.

Why can't you? If you are constantly learning from the shlokas, you are reading more about those and trying to find meaning about them then you must add them. If you are implementing those positive learnings from then and telling them to others then you should add that. Don't get confused by others. If your hobbies and interests are genuine and making your life positive then add them.

I disagree with the point of avoiding to mention playing video games. Why? How playing video games can be an addiction? And for your information the video games today youth playing requires fast brain and hands coordination. Most games are multiplayer where a person has to be very fast in movement, eye to finger response time should be very fast. Shooting games like COD, require very high focus in order to get kills. These high end games teaches us about latest tech and tools. By playing games in story modes we get to know history of various events, improve vocabulary, etc. Why should it not be included as a hobby and interests. People actively participating in gaming contests on global level. We get to talk to players from foreign countries and we make them friends play with them together. So why not to include it? Please leave the pre assumed thoughts of thinking video games as a addiction. It's not 90's its 2024. To be in certain level in multiplayer game you have to put lot of efforts. I can give 10 qualities which we can improve by playing games.

Bilkul dal skta hai bhai. You can tell the interviewing officer that to move forward in the game you have to be very competetive. Focus lgta hai usme. Skill banani pdti hai level match krne ke liye dusre players ka. Hum usme real player ke against khelte hain , nye logon se baat krte hain, interact krte hain. Din bhar ke kaam se bore hoke 1 ghanta khelte hain toh mind refresh hota hai aur dobara apni padhai ya kaam paar focus kr pate hain. Ye points seekh. Ye points tujhe bhi pta honge but now you know them. Aisi hobby jisse karke hum kuch na kuch nya seekh rhe hon ya apne life main positive changes la rhe hon toh unko bilkul add kr. Inko na add krke faltu ke artificial hobbies dalega toh isse bekar kuch nhi ho skta.
