While I'm not sure if I would put Marduk as one of my favourite extreme metal bands, I can't help but love Mortuus' vocals - he's got to be one of my favourite vocalists for all of extreme metal. His screams/growls/snarls are so fucking sinister, maniacal, diabolical and simply evil (not to mention unique), and are some of the most perfect vocals for the extreme styles of metal - I can picture him fitting in other types of bands, not just black metal.

GeneralOwn3D I'm sure I'll get around to both of those bands eventually - I mean, your black metal journey is never truly complete - but it won't be for a while. I HAVE checked out Funeral Mist though, picking up Salvation on CD about a month or 2 ago, and they are pretty wicked! They remind me of a Swedish Deathspell Omega
