Wow. Bloodhammer is superhuman. The speed, the power, the precision, the rolls and fills while throwing down the insane blast beats, and the crushing double bass...just...Wow. Simon you are a king among men and a god among kings.

Its a cop out that sounds like shit live because 99% of drummers can't actually pull it off properly and usually end up just manually placing the midi kicks in these playthroughs which is actually what you are hearing
@microtonalmilio52333 жыл бұрын
@@GENXJOPLIN I remember the trigger days.Used to have two bass drums, 2xaxis e kits. It was such a pain in the ass to set the velocity and sensitivity every time, I ended up focusing more on the drum module than actually playing. I just use old fashion heel up, singles now. It’s obviously 3000 times harder to play faster than 220 bpm for long periods of time, takes more energy, but every single hit is hard and just sounds better for some reason.
@victorsupreme2143 жыл бұрын
@@microtonalmilio5233 Did the same thing. Got so sick of fucking around with the triggers in the end I just couldn't be bothered. I spent like 5 years getting up to 220 nice even acoustic doubles, 230 if I had some crack and creatine for breakfast and all the planets aligned. Tried triggers again recently with under-footboard triggers they are way better than the original e-kits but still have to adjust them if you change kits. Tried the Laser triggers they are great, the actual trigger has a module built in you just run a cable direct to your speakers or desk. But the absolute best triggers I have used are $2 DIY where I stuck a piezo on the beater itself under the rubber/foam/felt on a Iron Cobra type beater.

@@zeldamage001 MG42 fires around 15k rounds per minute.. Not sure what that translates to in beats per minute but no. Also this pansy band has "dasavowed" WW2 Germany so don't compare them to the glorious German machine gun.
