The guys in the comments seem to have never heard of this great band or Power Metal music in general. They're expecting growls, shrieks, emo screams, and WTF what else. Embarrassing. Is it maybe that Century Media does not have enough power metal in its roster? Do folks need to become more educated and open their souls to more epic, heavy, melodic METAL sounds, and put Slipknot and all of those nu-metal, deathcore bands to rest for a while?

@alccarvalho17 жыл бұрын
Concordo em parte. Gus G faz falta? Sim. Acredito que o Snowy nem tanto. Sobre os CDs, eles acertaram no In The Night, que, para mim, está no nível dos dois primeiros. Em um ranking, seria: In The Night e os dois primeiros, The Book of Heavy Metal e, por último, United (que não é ruim, mas não tão bom).
@FearGivesWings7 жыл бұрын
Eu achei o In The Night muito bom, aliás...
@marcoantoniodefreitasramal44297 жыл бұрын

Funny seeing the death/growling crowd trying to attack the vocals. You mean the vocals that actually pronounce words and use musical notes :^). Attacking the 80s sound this band has been carrying since 1999 is a slap in the face to Iron Maiden, Dio, Warlord, Judas Priest, Queensryche, Crimson Glory, Scorpions, and so on. They all had fun, AND could write meaningful songs. They paved the way for metal. Some singing about global issues, some singing about dragons and wizards, others singing literally about the genre of metal itself. I went to see Sabaton in concert in October; that band had the time of their life. The only power metal band in the show, *they* carried their 80s inspiration, loved jumping with the audience, and sung about history, war, and heroes... Meanwhile the rest of the show was for screamo and death-core shit like Trivium and Huntress. Oh boy, I couldn't wait for them to screech about their mean ex-gfs and parents, and then wait for them to scream angrily at the crowd like "RAAAWWGHHHHHHH MAKE SOME FUCKING NOOOOISE." Let me guess, screaming verses and then a slightly understandable chorus that sounds like Blink 182 for 10 seconds until the screaming starts again? What fucking dime-in-a-dozen bands. Please keep that noise in your own head and never produce it again. If you have to attack the attire, you know nothing about gimmicks or metal roots. Of course it's silly. It's screamo and death growls that are trying to be "monstrous" and "tough," when really it's just the metal equivalent of pop: mindless copy/pasted drivel trying to be deep but the most that genre can do is insult Christians or something edgy like that.

i agree with you , but not all the deathcore/death metal and so on it's like that , take a look over Thy art is murder's lyrics , or Suicide Silence before theyr first vocalist's death , there are a few good core bands , but you are right , very most of them are about ex gf's or that theyr mom's don't let them pierce theyr ear and they start to cry cuz they think mommy it's against them , i like deathcore a lot and this kind a music , i'm here cuz i like a lot Dream Evil- the chosen ones and the book of heavy metal , i rescpect this kind of genre , but the vocals aren't my favourite part , bloodbound and dream evil are the only bands that are from this kind of genre and are the only bands i can listen when it comes to this kind of genre , i don't like metallica or iron maiden and so on , they are pretty much mainstream nowadays , srry for my grammar tho
@Melodeath006 жыл бұрын
Noting 80s about their sound. If anything, it's a late 90s/early 00s Power Metal sound. Also, get off your "clean singing only" high horse. You come off as extremely ignorant when you state that the 80s "Classic Metal" bands pawed the way, implying that there wasn't a huge Extreme Metal scene going on all the way back to the early 80s, a scene that arguably left a bigger mark on future Metal than what the "classics" did.
