I think is just an open note artificial harmonic, if you liked that you should check "A Wolf Amongst Ravens" by After The Burial

You can achieve that sound basically by not pressing the string down when playing. Your finger just hovers on top of the string. That takes a lot of the vibration out of the string and only these higher pitched sounds get through. It's called a harmonic
