5:30 he's actually boost grabbing during the tech-chases, even when Westballz was close. You can tell it wasn't JC'd because Sheik's body remains tilted and she doesn't return to a more upright position, as well as how much he warps from where the foot motion stops from the run, and she kind of slides in a similar position to how her legs are during the pummel (that marks the start of the grab, the end position being that much further away is how you know it's a boost grab and not a dash grab).

Also, boost grabbing is preferable for tech-chasing rolls and certain combo regrabs to JC grab. JC grab is better when CGing people DIing to the side.

1000g2g3g4g800999 this is supper nitpicky lol, but actully like the one time regular grab is better than jc grab, is when your trying to cg sheik in the ditto and at low percents if they di away. this is because jc grab forces sheik in standing position, but in order for her to maximize her horizontal distance, without boost grabbing, regular grab triumphs :p

Okeefeg Okeefeg I wasn't referring to the Sheik ditto specifically. Moreso slightly floatier characters she can chaingrab because regular grab goes slightly lower, so the issue isn't the opponent teching, but being able to jump out.

And by "slightly floatier" I also mean the characters that only get chaingrabbed if they DI to the side.

I'm actually slightly concerned Plup doesn't know how to properly recover as Sheik. He's always jumping off stage as soon as he can, which is not the best option. Instead save your double jump, then as you get close to the stage double jump and fair to get a boost of distance, then up b
