M2ks movement and shield game as marth vs falco is so freaking good. It's so easy for marth to get shut down by falco's laser, aerial, and shine pressure but he makes it work. Those powershields are too good. He does it against westballz's falco too, and he arguably has one of the best pressure games. GJ on both players parts.

You just have to be soft/easy on the control stick.

Control. Before i used to completely avoid tilts because i couldnt control my fingers. (I played brawl back then thats why i sucked) then i tried pm and i learned utilts on falco were vital to pillaring soooo, just had to try and control. All in all, if you think you will benefit more from tilts, and is determined to actually master them, you can easily get it.

Why don't falco players use his d-tilt? It kills fairly easily and comes out/recovers quickly.

SpiritBurner21 Shine is just better in most situations. Dtilt is good as a poor man's shine if something fucks up in the approach and Falco's not in shine range. Shine is just strictly better in every way besides range and kill potential, but it can easily be combo non-floaties into kill potential (bair, dair at edge, and at dair, upair if at dtilt kill percentage). It gets used here and there because of the range, and gets used a lot more against floaties as it kills at a more reasonable percent and shine can't combo at middling percents and up.

Dude at the interview, he says they were both playing terribly, but I think westballz was playing pretty great. pretty aggressively. he just got gimped, which sucks and isn't an excuse, but straight up he only dropped a few things and those tiny mistakes were all it took. you can't make mistakes against m2k

That's not "sheik," that's "M2K." And there's nothing unfair about it. M2K is impeccable on the ledge and he knows it, so he uses that strength he has. If people were better on the ledge (or as good as M2K is), they could contest that behavior.

I can almost guarantee that you wouldn't be a able to do half the crap M2K does with sheik. Your clearly just butt hurt over west ballz losing, and you have not made a single reasonable argument for him being better, or why he should have won. You can probably barely do this shit against computers or your friends, which is entirely different from managing to pull it off on a very skilled player such as west ballz. If you tried camping the ledge against west ballz, he'd probably pillar your ass and destroy you. But M2K can do it, because he's absolutely amazing with sheik. As it has already been stated, M2K is incredible on the ledge. So why wouldn't he camp it? It would make no sense. That'd be like telling west ballz that he shouldn't use his tech skill.
