Started watching this and automatically thought Chris G would win because of his dominance in marvel with Morrigan and her annoying soul fist. That's what led me to stop watching Marvel tournaments after a while. Just now came across this vid and its good to see someone else win a Marvel big stakes tournament. First time seeing this RyanLV guy but its clear that he is no rookie (plus I fell off MAHVEL for a minute). Congrats to Chris G as well for still being at the top of his game. I noticed RyanLG's Morrigan is used more for an assist towards a level 5 Phoenix which is smart strategic thinking.

1) how many other pro umvc3 players actively use morrigan and phoenix on the same team to begin with? 2) of those very few players you named, how many can use that team to hold their own against some of the top players in the world? 3) his third character is chun-li and shes usually the point character on the team, enough said here. 4) he and clockwork are the only pro players off the top of my head who actively uses their team in any order. most other pros dont do that. 5) because ryanlv can play his team in any order, that also means hes willing to play point phoenix when shes not even close to becoming dark. lets see how often someone like f champ do that.

Jim C you won't see ryanLV play very aggressivley with chun too much, at least against a zoning team like chris g's morrigan-dr.doom. chun li's role in ryans team is to use her awesome mobility to evade fireballs and such so that he can keep calling morrigans assist that builds meter. he'll then use some of that meter to zone a bit with his morrigan or call in jean to guarantee dark phoenix. it's about as marvel 3 as teams get, but i can't help but enjoy his gameplay because of how godlike he is

Chun's all about defense and air mobility... which normally is a no go in UMvC3 due to the extreme offensive nature of the game... Unless you use the defensive play to setup a Dark Phoenix much more safely than the usual Magneto/Doom/Jean

No one wants to know the outcome of any of the fights before they watch the game. No one. So why in the world would you make the FIRST video say in big letters: GRAND FINALS Before any of the other videos. Please just stop doing that. Let me try again: I want to watch the tournament all the way through. I go on to youtube and type in "top 8 umvc3" because I want to watch top 8 And the first video says: "GRAND FINALS PLAYER A VS PLAYER B" then every other video pops up... Also, the videos are played backwards, as in the first video in the sequence IS the grandfinals. Make sense? Don't tell me everyone here is just a headline reader and all they care about is who won then they move on? I actually watch everything. Start to finish, with all the emotion in tact. Once you reveal who wins, alot of that emotion is let out since there is no tense moment: The winners are known
