After all the humiliations and everything he put her through, he still wants a chance? He took her son away from her and made her out to be a bad and unfit mother. He believed what everyone would say about Wutong, but he would never believe or defend her. Had that been me, I would’ve never forgiven him. Sometimes, dramas like these piss me off because they portray toxic relationships that may send the wrong message to the audience. No, it is not ok to stay with someone after he/she has done nothing but make you suffer and bring you misery. Even if it’s for a child’s sake, that constant torment will slowly eat at you and can lead to mental health issues. You also have to think what kind of a message you will be sending to your child. I know that the male lead eventually changed, but that is not always the case in the real world.

I agree. A lot of these dramas give give false reality on what real life I like. It makes it seem like chemistry is enough. Once we kiss and make up, everything will be well I the world but that is far from the real world. People like this dont change in real life, they'll slowly eat you away until you become a shadow of yourself

This kind of drama basically promotes spouse abuse and send a message that you should be a doormat to a man, to your husband, and let your husband abuse however he wants, then hopefully he realized his mistakes in the end then you'll have a happy life. I wish the writers in this story made Xiam Jun held accountable for the acts of lasciviousness, sexual assault to Wu Tong on that night when he drugged her,, molested the unconscious body of Wu Tong. It isn't enough to say sorry to her. He violated the married woman even if there was no consummation of the rape, there was the intent to violate the person of Wu Tong.
