If you coat all of the threads on the bolts with Phillips Milk of Magnesia they will never not come off no matter how hot they get. Strange but true, used for many years on header manifold bolts, muffler bolts and various wood stoves.

I don't know about the milk of magnesia thing mentioned but they also make a copper anti-seize which is better for high temps versus the aluminum anti-seize. I've been looking at toyota 4runners and tacomas it seems the rust is impossible to escape and most of the dealers I go to seem to have no idea just how bad their underside looks until I crawl under there.
