That was quite close! Also on the offensive / defensive thought, I think offensive stats have a optimal point where you have so much damage and clear that you kill anything before they can be a risk to you, while defensive stats have this point where if you cannot die if you’re dodging well enough, it is the most optimal. And in this run, you weren’t close to the damage breakpoint, so I guess the defensive stats seem more important? Just my thoughts. Cool run!

Scary run. I like watching your style of focusing more on defensive stats personally. I think not going with the cuffs made for a more interesting run so i support it

Ghost scepter was my weapon of choice on Renegade. I havent watched yet but Im guessing youll win easily

I think with the handcuffs, you would have died. You're taking a lot of hits, but you can survive because of the giant number of HP. I'm not sure more DPS would have counterbalanced it enough.

Very possible! It's hard to say, honestly - with the extra money from faster waveclear, the character would have probably been able to get stronger and take fewer hits. It's too bad there's no way to take a snapshot of a run to test out different choices

@@Cephalopocalypse Technically you can (go back to menu, copy the save file, keep playing and beat the game one way, close the game, paste and replace the save file, launch the game, you'll be back at the wave you want).

Yeah this was a tough one! I honestly didn't expect it to be as hard as it was. And that's true, great way to think about it! I think offensive stats hit a breakpoint where you can't take any damage because everything is dead, so they scale in steps (eg. number of hits to kill an enemy) and defensive stats scale much close to linearly, so small amounts of those make a difference where a small change in damage might not.
