You can skip meguiar s polishing and do ceramic coatings after compounding step.

Polishing is to even the surface. But it's not necessary. Better to avoid it in long run. As it will run off the clearcoat.

Just start with a regular car wash and dry the car properly. You can then use compounding followed by polishing. Then do ceramic.

Love the end result bhai but this is not proper ceramic coating which is done by professionals. This product is more like a mixture of wax and ceramic coating material. Buy a bottle of collonite wax and apply it every 3 to 4 months. It is the best carnuba wax after Fusso Coat Carnuba Wax in the market for dark shade

1 bottle is sufficient for your harrier, do 1 panel at once, do not over spray product will go waste 2 coats with 24 hour curation time can last 4 to 5 months. Still some product left in bottle. You can do maintenance coats every month just spray and wipe. 25k is the going rate almost everywhere, just ask what product they use. Titan ceramic coatings are good. If you are willing to shell out 25 k go for it. Else you can DIY and you will be happy with results.

@@venusenterprises2001 I think Trinity has self healing ceramic just like Titan. Which is decent. If your budget allows you can go for it. Try a couple of more places before finalising. Meanwhile you can do your own coat and get it done later.

Great video! I know after buffing with rubbing compound it's important to wax, but will this coat of wax will not form a layer between the ceramic coat and the car body? I am thinking of maybe applying a clear coat after buffing and then a ceramic coat or, ceramic coat after buffing and then wax.

After rubbing it's polishing, polish doesn't add a coat rather it smoothens the clear coat surface further for better bonding of ceramic polymers. (Polisher is like rubbing only but it's finer grain makes the surface smooth like we use sand paper first thick grain and then very fine grain) hope this helps.

Yes you should cover it up. It's easier to clean dust. As the surface gets smooth. The dust doesn't stick much.

It's a good product. It has carnuba wax, need maintenance sprays like any other product.

@@scrppr8270 wax is mostly carnauba wax. Traditionally came in wax form, takes time to apply and have to rub hard so carnauba wax came in spray form for easy application. Ceramic as name suggests is a different product has ceramic polymers to cover the clear coat. Carnauba traditionally has to be reapplied at quicker intervals as compared to ceramic. Both these products are good and every month maintenance sprays while washing your car will keep the coat in good condition. Do consider buying products from description links. Yes you can but all new cars are polished before delivery so you have to first wash car with pH Neutral Shampoo and then do ceramic. Don't forget to put 2 coats with interval of 24 hours (curation time as mentioned in video) for longer lasting effect. Purchase links are in description.

I would like to thank you for your query. Coating should be done in shade and once coated cover up your car (skip if you have a garage) , no water should be sprayed on car after coating. Curing time here is 24 hours and if you skip curing time and drive the car, coating effects won't be that great. Hope this helps.💐

The one my car has is a plastic covering OEM accessory kit i bought from the car dealer itself. But there is a process called "HYDRO DIPPING". You can get that done on your orvm from Karol Bagh Delhi or you can google it.

See compound is done to remove scratches then follows polishing to smoothen out the surface. The smoother the surface better bonding of ceramic polymers will take place on the car surface. You cdn skip compounding but know it that the coat will not last that long, to counter that you can try doing maintenance ceramic spray in a couple of months.

Market people charge around 20 30 k for a 3 year or 5 year coat in which they do maintenance coats periodically. All the stuff would not cost you more than 5k and you can do periodic coats yourself within that cost depends upon what you are looking for. Also their charges are high but this work involves a lot of labour. I think if you are inclined to DIY stuff you should try this out yourself , the quality won't be as great as a wrokshop as they have tools and garages but I can assure you will fall in love with your car all over again if you DIY.
