Thank you very much for this informative video. Can you please give a bit more information regarding the type of glaze used - do you have the recipe for the glaze that you used?

Thank you for your comment. The glaze is a transparent lime glaze. I am using a commercially available transparent glaze.

Merci pour votre commentaire. Merci d'avoir regardé ma vidéo.
This is very nice! I made similar works fir candles, and some ofmy pupils made it for decoration with light. I like to add little sculptures, birds, fairys, gekkos... Un saludo desde Argentina!❤🇦🇷

Thank you for your comment. If it is a lamp shade, it is not necessary to cover it with glaze, so you can make holes in various sizes and shapes! I think the lamp shade is also fun.

Do you take any precautions about dust when drilling the fired bisque? Should the bisque be wet?
@kiraku-pottery Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment. I don't think you have to worry about it because it doesn't produce a lot of dust. Please note that the strength will be weakened if it gets wet.
Hi Kiraku, very nice video. I have not seen this technique before. I have seen lamp shades made of porcelain that are much larger and so are the holes for light. Do you think it's possible to do this technique with bigger holes?
@kiraku-pottery3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment. If the hole is large, it will be difficult to close it with glaze. If it is a lamp shade, it is not necessary to cover it with glaze, so I think that the hole can be large.
Thank you for your comment. I would be happy if you could use it as a reference.

@@kiraku-pottery I already try this technique, but not enough to have a good result) By your video I understand what was wrong , and I recently received new porcelain, I will try it on it. Thank you!
