Matt, Matt - if that were my piece, the greenware would be collapsing under its own weight. Great job, can't wait to see it fired and glazed..... and fired again.

How you stay in control of such wet clay is amazing. Where is the finished piece? I wish all of the KZbinrs who posted their processes would show us the finished piece, helps a lot!

I'm a pretty big fan of your pottery, at least what I have seen in videos. It's so different and exotic in appearance.

Too bad I didn't have a ceramics professor like you in art college. My mom has the only piece that came out. (At least I did well in life sculpture class.) You make creating a vase look so easy. How much of that ease is due to the size of your hands? Thanks for sharing, I think it's a striking vase.

This was awesome to watch! It ended up looking fantastic. Thanks for giving us this peek into your process. Once you are up and running and making more... would you take requests as to specific colors a person would like the outside to be? 😊

Wow man. That was completely Rad to the Bone. Groovy baby. It only looks easy because you've done it so many types it before. Are you still taking Saturday off? It's hard to keep up with you, sometimes... what am I saying "sometimes" 🤔. It's hard enough to know what I'm doing... and what day it is ...at anytime. 🥴 Hey, do you have some really messed-up boo boos?. I mean like totally funky... cracks, more cracks? Chips. I could probably do 'bout 40 bucks, tops... not "box tops", BUCKS, tops. Thanks for sharing buddy. Well, later 🐊 😸🐾

With this shape how do you assure your seams are pulled together well enough on the inside? I mean what tools could you use?
@MattsCrazyArt
@MattsCrazyArt 9 ай бұрын
You can't get to the inside. You score and slip the seams and then you pinch them and that's the best you can do. I've made 100 of them and only about 10% will start to crack at the seams but that's moreso if I don't dry them properly before baking
