Ye it’s really annoying they just glide around when I try to bite them so I’m forced to lunge them again XD looks especially weird on a laggy server because you won’t see the animation and it will just look like they are teleporting

damn, they really need to add that tutorial feature into the game at this point, because I literally had no idea about: manual vomiting, vomit making food rotten faster, rotten food giving S nutrient on non-diet bodies, or the rules regarding damage immunity while eating or the damage reduction buff - like having to be 100% grown is kind of a weird criteria, and then /all/ others is only 25% reduction instead of 50? Seems like it should scale a little bit more smoothly lol

About rotten organs not giving nutrients: they actually *do* give nutrients, but it's the same as rotten non-diet bodies which give whatever they'd normally give to others. So Gallimimus for instance gives lipids to things that prefer it, so a rotten one gives Cerato lipids....except it's organs *also* give lipids no matter what organ it is. It's actually quite annoying when trying to get a varied diet.

@@FearlessJames I used dibble body to test and it not being on cera's diet I didn't get any nutrients. But let's be fair, rotten organs giving the same nutrient as the body is practically the same as not getting anything cuz at that you might as well eat the body

Im happy theyre changing some of the current systems lol I think diet aswell, which is good because especially with cerato diets are really only encouraged with the all 3 diet otherwise the others are less useful. Plus things like this make rotten food less useful for cerato aswell despite being intended to eat that kinda stuff. I actively avoid rotten food over fresh food as cera because of the diets being needed. Which is annoying. Especially when you have an ability thats only good for making things rot faster so you can better deter enemies.

as someone with 1k hours on the isle and played a good bit of evrima, I had no idea about the alt biting in water as well as being able to manually throw up and it makes things rot faster??? thats crazy!!

I love Cerato to death, but I think it needs something. It's hard to bully other carnivores off bodies when vomit is so inconsequential and you're so flimsy.

During horde testing that happened way more often and that was caused by DLSS (assuming it's the same thing)

is cerato really immune to low dmg while eating? surly this is no longer the case. those annoying little birds keep interrupting me if i try and ignore them while eating. and the 125dmg from teno claw attack is not all that low in terms of dmg, thats crazy haha.

Love this garbage disposal of a dino. Wish ceratos weren't on its preferred diet and instead just didn't impose a cannibalism penalty, since I don't love strong incentives to attack your own kind. But imo most fun carno.

I think its ok because the devs wanted ceras to be naturally agressive to their own kind so it kinda makes sense plus theyre always hungry and will eat anything. But I get what you’re saying. Also imo its better to call carnivores “carnis” instead of “carnos” because carno is used as the short name for carnotaurus most of the time.

@@stephanwagner6189 This goes for all the playables but get your diets and hide. Also being in a group greatly increases your surviving changes but cera is cannibalistic so be careful to trust another cera.

Its easy just start get atleast 50% diat and sit in a bush until u need to get more food and water, u can do something else in that time
