great vid as usual but 2 changes to your fit if you have good skills swop the republic large cap battery for a large thukker then replace the Reactor Control Unit II for Dark Blood Power Diagnostic System it gives way more cap more recharge bigger shield and just enough power grid its also got better warfare resist

This looks very good, but it requires basically perfect fitting skills (including advanced weapon upgrades 5) to pull off. On paper it is more than worth the 40m extra module cost though! Tried to fit this using variants of other modules, it can be done but the fit becomes wayyy more expensive. Guess it's finally time to train awu5 ;)

Nice! I actually bought a couple of large Dread boosters last week because they were so cheap compared to Caldari Navy and some of the other faction boosters. I checked and couldn't find any difference in stats. Maybe I'm missing something. Anyway, thanks for the video. You're awesome!

Ooh, budget tengu! Little bit of feedback: I find the in-game clock to be very important in the videos. I am silently (or I guess, quite explicitly now) judging how fast the ship can handle each of the combat sites. It would help if your demonstrations showed the warp-in and the final blow of the site. Is it perfectly accurate like that? No. But it does typically give an indication of the ship's performance.

I did mention during the combat section how long it takes to clear sites ☺️ about 12 mins for the FFS, with the others taking up to 20 mins.

I would seriously take along some Rage. You've got enough range on a Cerb to use them against things you need to kill quickly. Along with your web and crash, you should be fine.

This is similar to my Cerberus fit but there are some key differences, I'll list just what I did differently. Mid - EM Shield Amplifier II (replaces Stasis Webifier) Low - Missile Guidance Enhancer II (replaces Reactor Control Unit) Rig - Medium Ancillary Current Router II, Medium Warhead Rigor Catalyst II This thing is cap stable with everything running (only 2.1 Δ though) and I get 40 km range with Rage missiles - implants I run help with the range quite a bit. Also a smaller sig (135 m).

Cool fit! If you're running specific sites, that'll work well - though it will likely struggle on the Oruze due to the heavy neuting!

@@captainbenzie Tried to tinker a bit an I just replaced Missile Guidance Enhancer II with Reactor Control Unit II, I'm losing some damage application and 4 km with rage missiles (still 36 km) for slightly better tank and much better cap stability (10 Δ with everything running).

Checking it's patch history, I don't think it ever had resistance? That's on the Eagle for shield, and Sacrilege on armor.

I'd like to see a Deimos, blaster fit of course, with dual rep. Curious How good my old pvp fit would do. Mids were mwd, web, scram. Been so long...I always fit pvp when ratting just in case I got any unexpected visitors and you can't kill intruders (rude 😃) if you have no scram. Back then though I used a fully skilled Ishtar for all C3 combat sites solo. Extra mid slot for hacking module or whatever you need per site. I found the Deimos was excellent vs those 5 rat, drifter cruiser gate camps. I used pvp fit Deimos vs Drifter battleship successfully every time even, rough but could be done. I used SISI to figure out how to do it. Gotta be careful about mwd and the one dd you going to get hit by, not easy but can be done. Staggered reps. Aaaaanyway. I'm kinda thinking the Deimos wasn't able to do C3 ... Been too many years ago now 😐 'Course I was also fully skilled for the blaster Deimos. 🤷 P. S. Nice vid once again Benzie 👌 👍 👏

Entirely up to you! Of the three, the Cerberus does all four sites, faster than the others, and is cheap. It just requires more intense skills to run.

@@MrMannerless ever so slightly slower, but about a quarter of the price. I love my Tengu, and if you want to cloak and roam, that's your winner - but if you're in a wormhole corp or have friends around, Cerberus is great.

If it can run every C3, it can run every C2, and yes, flown right, it'll clear all the gas sites (Gas Cloud rats are site dependent, not C# dependant)

Is there any advantage to use this over a Praxis? I don't understand why not just use a simple Praxis that requires no specific skills? The praxis has about 30% more dps and not needed to sig tank. And that being at around the same price point

Skills and hull availability are the main ones. Some people like smaller ships and skill into those. You can also use the Cerberus more readily in PVP and it can do Abyssals. In a wormhole ratting scenario, a Cerberus makes a quicker getaway if hostiles arrive, and puts less mass on holes during transit.

Yeah, that's not happening, sorry! None of the Alpha Friendly cruisers will do all C3 sites. If you can get into a BC, you can duo C3s with a friend, or failing that, a Praxis or Gila. That said, I'd strongly recommend getting Omega sometime (7 days free in the NES store right now!) Once you have Omega, the additional skills and ships make it easier to get Omega again ☺️
