Congratulations on your first year on KZbin Laura.🎉 You have converted quite a few crafters to appreciating card board/ cereal boxes. Saving the planet one miniature at a time👏👏

Thank you so much! I never thought of it that way before..but Yes I guess I am saving the planet one box or sheet of paper at a time. 😄 I always tell my husband I don’t plan to save cardboard or food packaging anymore.. and then he starts seeing cardboard stashed here and there. 😂

@Lauras-tinyview it really looks awesome. I recently made a small cabinet from cardstock. I figured out an awesome woodgrain (faux) technique =, sharpened colored pencils in terracotta, light brown, and burnt sienna..and "scratched " those down my strip of cardstock (when i first did this, i was making a miniature bench and I used foam board from dollar tree and wanted a wood finish, so I did cardstock and "wrapped" it ) ⁸ I also colored Lines of watercolor pencil in wood tones (only coloring in one line direction) then..went over all of it with watercolor markers and it dried and looked like a small strip of wood! I hope that can maybe help someone..you seem to have the woodlook down Good..but I fig I would mention it's possible with cardstock.

That’s wonderful, thank you for the DIY!! If you want to make books with pages, you can remove the cover of a book leaving the spine glued together, then cut off the pages along the inner blank margin where the words start. 📚💖

That's a great idea! I have done it with magazines but never books. I need to pick up a book from goodwill and try that. You can get tons of books from one I’m sure. 👍🏼 Thank you!

Such a cute bookshelf, now you need dozens more books for it (because any avid reader knows you cannot have enough books!) lol. That mini level tho 😍 I could have done with something like that for what I'm working on right now. Luckily I think the floor in my gnome home is a bit wonky, things might accidentally even themselves out somehow lol
