Me too. I save the best videos under scrapbooking, then I have a journal for my crafting where I write down the title, author and details of something I need make and to buy for each video. Then I sleep on it, watch it again anytime later really fast and highlight in my journal the projects I intend on making. If I do t do it this way, I buy stuff and forget what I wanted to make. I am excited as this will be my very first scrapbooking project I will make.

I love your tutorials, Ceri. They’re among my favorites because they are so thorough! You might invest in a 6” X 18” quilting ruler for cutting 12”x12” and larger paper.

May I suggest, a quilters rotary cutter dedicated to paper cutting only, and a wider acrylic ruler. The acrylic ruler gives the cutter a higher ledge to cut along. Keep in mind the rotary cutter blade will be extremely sharp and very quick. I love your choice of papers and you have a wonderful teaching voice.

Hello Sir, I have just found your video and I must say I loved what you did with the envelope you made. I thought you would smother it with tags, cutouts, stickers etc but I was wrong. Gloria, theres a place for over embellishment and theres a place for letting the papers speak for themselves, I tend to favour minimalist decoration with a good focal point. I love NZ, I was raised in the bay of islands from the age of three to nine (I believe it was)……its a long time ago now. Welcome to my channel.

Ceri, you are correct, double stick tape Does lose its stickiness! I've had older projects, some from just a few years prior just completely come apart, even an indoor paper wreath that had Not been exposed to heat between doors, just regular indoor climate. I'm an Elmer's Glue All crafter. It's quicker than peeling all those tape liners, and more dependable for holding for any length of time. I will use narrow tape on my cards and tags, but not something 3D or journals that I want to keep for awhile. 😏

I love to utilise printed numbers, letters and words, I’ve avoided newspapers however as the paper just doesn’t hold up well to some of the wet processes I do.

Its even naturally lightly discolored around the page edges 😮😊. Chapters on proper wording. Examples of how to type correct buisness letter. For me these are fabulous. They look like they took a lot of skill but they are really so easy. At 70 years old I certainly appreciate when someone does a tutorial that is easy for me and doesn't require a lot of mental figuring. I would like to make several sizes because I have a lot of 6x6 and 8x8 stamperia paper pads. If I use an 8x8 and did the same thing do you know what 2 measurements I would score the lines at? 🤔

Well, he scored at 4 & 8,so he was dividing the 12 inches by 3. So, for 8 inches it would be 2 & 3/4 inches & then 5 & 1/2. That's if I did my Math correctly. Try it out with a scrap to begin with! 🤞💛 Checked a calculator & 8 divided by 3,gives the score line of 2.6 & 5.2 but I'm unsure of how to translate it into inches for you. 😕😞🤔☺️ 6x6 would score @2 inches & 4 inches ~ easy! 🥰❤️

Off the top of my head I don’t know the measurements but measure the longest side of the triangle and divide it into thirds these are then your score lines.

Oh, this is brilliant. I've done paper folds before to get like a hot cocoa pouch, but this will be a PERFECT way to do a little springtime idea I have for some fabric Easter treat bags. Instead of chocolate and candy for my adult associates, what an idea to write out some little wishes (or fortune cookie type words of wisdom) and tucking those inside the decorated envelope...maybe tuck in a few flower seeds into a tiny pouch and give them one of those cardboard seed starter cups. Thank you! You have primed the pump for ideas I now have rolling around in my head. THANK YOU!!!

Brilliant; just brilliant. I love these; so much easier than so many other styles. I love Stamperia paper, but too often the pattern/repeat is way too big. I really wish they'd size the images down. This is a brilliant way to deal with that challenge.

I tried to focus on the creation of the envelope and not so much on the decoration but I do try to decorate one piece as everyone always asks for it. A dragonfly would have been wonderful I was just not thinking that far ahead.

You could also flip the pocket flap portion forward to one side and backward to the other side, giving a two sided “stuff-able” insert with corner pockets on each side. ❤
