@@equation1321 In my last two years of high school I did a lot of physics and mathematics extracurricular activities. I wanted to enroll in a Math+physics double major, which has the highest grade of entry in my country, but didn't get in by a 0.06 point difference (the grade is over 14 points). I did get accepted into an interdisciplinary double degree excellency program in another university, where I could study mathematics + any engineering degree. While there was a degree called Physics Engineering, I did not like the sound of that and took CS as my second degree. Over my first college year I lost my interest in physics and cared exclusively for mathematics. Meanwhile, CS was more of a fun thing to learn that would help me get a job if I ever wanted to quit maths. I did my bachelor's thesis in abstract algebra and graduated 2 months ago, now I'm working as a hardware engineer while I save for my master's in mathematics. Sometimes I wish I was still interested in physics, mathematics are amazing also but very hard and frustrating, like a love/hate relationship.

@@poleomentaa wow man that’s cool. But it sucks how such a small difference in points can have such big complications
