It’s a very tough pick. Both have great quality and both are strong in different ways. It really comes down to what you really prefer in a gold piece. I would choose Cernucci for their tennis chains and bracelets. But GLD for their Miami gold link chains.

It’s a good idea if he’s just getting into jewelry. But if your guy is good with jewelry, you still have the option to pick solid gold or white gold. The brand is actually pretty good.

@@zarachoudhury6854 Good question. Plated gold and white gold isn’t fake. It means that it is not completely gold, all the way through. Plated is the gold, covering the design. But if you choose solid gold, it more expensive and it will be completely gold. EX: if you were to drill a hole through the piece, it will be solid gold all the way through. So that’s why they give you the option of plated or solid gold.

Good question. I’ve had these piece for some time now, and I have yet to see any discoloring. BUT remember, this is plated gold. So, at some point, the jewelry will have a little blemishing happen. As for water, it does very well. BUT, i wouldn’t recommend going swimming in it, because chlorine could permanently damage the pieces.

For lesser expensive than solid and for economical purposes I prefer gold FILLED which my pieces have been worn at beaches swimming in ocean salt water, while showering, in swimming pools and while doing yard work, sweating, etc and STILL look great… nonetheless, as for getting PLATED, this company here gives good quality merchandise which I’ve gotten a few pieces
