Can you imagine that at the time when this song was released, kids like me (I was 9 back then) could sit back and just listen to music, doing nothing else than just listening to and enjoying the music. I'm a 90's kid (unfortunately, I suppose), so I didn't get a chance to experience all this glory first hand. But I absolutely adore music of the 60s-90s! It's just...different... Had more soul to it, if you get my drift. Stuff from Kraftwerk, Moroder, Jarre, Cerrone, Gary Numan, to name a few, that I found exploring the musical possibilities of what was then known as 'the sound of the future' (synths) really well.

Une PURE MERVEILLE!! cela fait maintenant plusieurs année que j 'ai découvert ce titre de CERONNE, comme quoi indémodable la lésion du rock ( batteur cerrone qu' on entend sur cette version. ) et le disco venu des etas unis, ils ont bien compris rapidement que s ' était une merveille!!! dommage que les italiens au top au niveau europe n' ont pas saisi l occasion!! une question finnaciere sans doute?? bref les ITALIENS ce sont bien redressé avec l' ITALO DISCO que j adore!!!

A lot of people were robbed. ;). True story: I started out as a DJ back in 75 and we'd always had advanced copies of tracks. The first time I played it at a party they were like "Yawn, yeah whatever" (Go figure). It came on the airwaves a few weeks later and we did a party for basically the same crew. Two months earlier on January 21st it entered Billboard's Top 100 chart; eventually it peaked at #70 and spent 5 weeks on the Top 100... And on January 21st it reached #1 {for 4 weeks} on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play chart... R.I.P. Mr. Clark {1929 - 2012} and Cerrone will celebrate his 61st birthday in two months on May 24th...
