I love it too Kathe...one more fun thing to add into paintings! And...I love that one of my students taught it to me! We're always learning!🌷

Mmmmh..yes..love the crackles and the texture of the fabric.. A really cool technique and i really like the way you incorporated the patches in your art pieces, esp. striking when they simulate actual pottery or stucco.. Thanks Denise.

I know Ina...I love using them to create pots and containers...the prefect element. It's always good to have some hanging around the studio for those times I need something quick and ready made...provided I have some already made on hand!🤭😉

Thank you for sharing. I have used DecoArt clear clackle over a few of my paintings. After I have completed the painting I sealed it with medium then applied antique wax or a glaze medium, there are many different colors you can use. I love the way it looks, kind of like an old painting.

Hi Amy...As an ex-professional faux paintier...I used many different crackle paints, and love most of them. This technique gives me the option to create shapes and a little more control over where the crackle ends up in a piece. I also love that it works on a print fabric so you can let a little of the pattern show through. I LOVE aged elements in my more contemporary paintings. Thanks for watching and leaving a great tip!🌠

Okay. Fairly brilliant. Not just the technique but cutting it into different sizes. Was that like a camping coffee pot, reminiscent of blue enamel. Well, little missy, I'd say....fabuloso!!!

It is pretty brilliant, especially since a student taught me this technique! 🤭 I haven't done it in awhile...it takes a little prep to get to the finished piece and I usually just want to dive into a painting! So... good to have some pre-made on hand! PS...it does kinda look like a camping coffee pot...didn't notice until now!😉
