Sky News host Chris Kenny says Russell Morris is "not mocking" around with his upcoming music tour featuring a 54-piece orchestra backing a ten-person band.
"If you're anywhere near my vintage or older, you know that Russell Morris is the real thing, an absolute legend of Australian music, with hits like The Real Thing, Sweet Sweet Love, and On the Wings of an Eagle," Mr Kenny said.
“His career started in the 1960s, reached dizzying heights in the 1970s and he's still going strong at 75 taking a show around the country that showcases his incredible repertoire, with full orchestral backing.”
Chris Kenny joined Russell Morris in discussing his upcoming show ‘The Real Thing’ which starts touring around Australia in October.
Russell's 'The Real Thing' tour starts this month in Melbourne, followed by Crown in Perth, Festival Theatre, Adelaide, Sydney Opera House in November and Brisbane in December.
