Such a smart move. I used certainteed on my roof and my daughters roof and they are both defective. Insurance will not accept the roof yet certainteed says both of these roofs are fine. I’m so disgusted w certainteed. Their home office is in Europe. Good luck getting any answers. The place that sold the shingles to me is disgusted with certainteed also. They are not good people.

I don' t have a preference but by looking at the video it is clearly a fake! Notice that when he hooks to the center shingle it is the part of the shingle that is twice as thick as the other two. If you're going to do a test do a equal test by either pulling the shingles in the thinnest or thickest parts of all 3 shingles... so fake!!!

You nailed in the WRONG PLACE!!! Landmark mail line is between the bottom two lines NOT the top two lines. The very top line is to indicate the top of the previous shingle

Youre wrong... Go take a look at the landmarkinstall pdf right on CertainTeed's website. In between the top two lines is for standard and low slopes. Check your facts before you comment next time.
