The list doesn’t end there. Rom, Nog, Leeta, Martok, Jeffrey Combs is doing several of his Trek roles including 2 of his favored DS9 ones. And not to spoil much Salome Jens, Plus a handful of other surprising returns. Plus there are a few STO original characters/Voice actors that manage to hold their own with the DS9 cast. Loriss is a great example.

@@andrewtaylor940 Well, I was already aware of Nog and Martok's actors, as well as Odo's and Kurn's actors as well. Heck, I've even heard Worf at some point as well, which is awesome! Nice to know that Jeffery Combs is involved as well, I really like that guy. ^.^ Quite surprised that Rom's gotten his original actor back as well - almost didn't sound like him, if I'm honest. My mistake

@@KrytenMark Max Groedonchek (sp?) voice is distinct enough that it would be hard to replace. I think they’ve used him before? Plus he’s probably not outrageously expensive to get for a day or two of new dialog. Part of me is sad that we did not get an in game meeting between Ambassador Odo and Ambassador Neelix. Talk about a missed opportunity.

I think J'mpok's goal was to remake the empire in the shape of the Federation as an alternative to the Federation. He brought other species into the Empire to emulate that strength of the Federation, he protected House Torg as a Klingon version of Section 31, set up a secret prison (like the one the Federation kept its dangerous and political criminals) and he dramatically expanded the Defense Force so he wouldn't have to rely on fickle house support for military actions.

Keep in mind that owning a moon is relative. Sometimes they are so worthless (relatively speaking) that their only use is their gravity (so less power for artificial gravity) and they are real estate for building a structure akin to a starbase or satellite with some near terrestrial advantages aside from the gravity. So... Quark's moon might just be a Star Trek version of a real-world mobster's empty lot.

Its nice to hear the voice acting, as i mainly play the xbox version. It is commonly glitchy, such as ground phaser weapons only recently getting their sounds back, and now the gamma quadrant voice acting doesnt play. So it’s always nice to see the game functioning as it should.

Im still amazed at how STO was able to get so many past trek actors, actually the graphics and animations make it obvious as to where the money went (or maybe modern games have just spoiled me but i play mass effect so maybe not)

it was really cool seeing a bunch of characters from deep space nine, some of whom have been in previous episodes and some who have not, but it was cool how are you kind of went over with they have been up to. It's also cool that they are all pretty much played by the same people. Bashir and Leeta definitely sound older. Garak and Rom still sound about the same.

What irks me so much is that Bashir was retconned to being the doctor in the one mission Task Force Hippocrates for about a month after ViL came out and then Cryptic pulled most of the Klingon War Arc, which included TFH. A shame because they got Bashir to VA all the dialogue but its all for naught right now. Hopefully they can bring it back soon

Rom is just being practical. Giving Ferengi permission to raise armies and fight if called for. The particulars and specifics, so Ferengi do not run off and become warmongering fiends, will take generations to work out.

next week i'm going to watch all 3 parts through. This missions is just a better version of the lost dominion arc conference mission. Kind of hoping they revamp that arc or do another set of mission to cover that fleet...unless it turns up or is referenced in discovery later down the line which would be nice.

I can't see Rom being anything but the worst Grand Nagus ever. He's a nice guy, and he is a genius....at engineering. He's an idiot when it comes to business. A guy like him is chum in the shark tank that I can only imagine Ferengi politics as. For him to have lasted this long, Moogie's got to be the one pulling his strings, I guarantee it. Otherwise he'd have sold Ferenginar for a handful of magic beans a long time ago. However, I'm glad he seems a lot more confident than he used to be and Leeta, as always, is the queen. I too hate it when Bolians start falling from the sky. Must be springtime.

She was an impressive actress, with movies like One flew over the Cocoos Nest and others. Her character is one of the best villains ever in Star Trek. She is probably one of the top 3 or 5 out of all of them. I would put her above Khan since she was fleshed out more. Too bad she is gone, along with Kern now as well.

Hmmm? I just noticed a bit of a continuity error. Probably caused by the fact that you are going back and replaying these to film. Adep’Pa should not b3 here yet. I don’t believe you actually meet her until Partisans? Kurn and she are not actually elements of the Gamma story arc. But they end up on DS9 during the Klingon Civil War. Some known named DS9 NPC’s remain in the phase for this mission. The weird thing in the case of these two is they have moved, but maintain their later post partisans dialog. Normally they are sitting in the food court near the Ferengi Trader that gives the “Haggle For” rare mats missions.

I think that she was in some earlier missions that were removed from the game. There are also background lore that STO posts on it's website that highlighted Adepta's role in finding where Martok was imprisoned which makes me believe that characters did meet her somewhere before the Gamma Arc.

I don't think they get the voice talent to do very many takes, or give them much time to review the script before recording. Especially when they get actual cast members from the shows in. They might only have the bigger names booked for a day, and need to get it done in one. Something I've noticed a lot, both in Ric's series, and my own playthrough, is that the voice dialog is often careful and deliberate, as if they're struggling to get it right in as few takes as possible. An improvement over the earlier missions, where it was often rushed and cut together badly. So I'm not surprised that her accent is not always consistent.
