When you thought (pretty much any good willed crazy character here) was f***ed up in life, try these 3 an obsessed creepy stalker, an animal lover who knows almost nothing about animals, and a giant infant that wants her mommy
@BladeMasterIcarus3 ай бұрын
The last one though is the most sad when you think about it. Whoever that lady was got far too traumatized working for a black company that she wants to escape to infancy. Funny gimmick for a Vtuber for sure at least for the audience but its also down right depressing the more you think about it.

@@BladeMasterIcarus Seriously, I'm glad that other people caught that. All I can imagine is a girl, bright and innocent thinking she has a bright future ahead of her, working hard for years in school, getting out from all the stress and struggle there (maybe she was bullied too IDK?), only to go to work for one of these soulless jobs, and being so horrifically traumatized that she retreats back to the only happy time in her life, childhood....😥 Like you said, a good gimmick for a Vtuber, but a super sad story and great example of while I love alot of things about Japan, their work culture is NOT one of them.

What the hell did see she want form acting baby and full mental break down
@BladeMasterIcarus3 ай бұрын
you saw a trauma trigger get pulled with the words "fill out this Résumé". Notice how fast she went from acting to mentally breaking down. The woman is clearly traumatized from her last job. Though its debatable her acting out as a baby could also be some kind of coping mechanism. Putting two and two together, makes the baby streamer actually the most depressing vtuber due to how utterly broken she is as a person.
@anarchofuturist39763 ай бұрын
@@BladeMasterIcarussomething along those lines is probably accurate, but thats not a very nice way of putting it. age regression is a real coping mechanism and calling them “utterly broken as a person” for it is kinda mean. she just baby, nothing wrong with that
@robertreck4313 ай бұрын
@@anarchofuturist3976 Whether she's coping or not, it's probably pretty fair to call her broken (if not to the point of being utterly nonfunctional). Minor spoilers for the near future (with plenty of blank lines to ensure you need to click "show more": Assuming they adapt the novels straightly enough going forward, just going to the office for a meeting is enough to cause her to collapse in the hall and, essentially, lose the will to live (she doesn't expressly say that, but she does mention having had no energy to try to get up, owing to her emotional state). Calling her broken may be extreme, but I wouldn't call it mean, more sad/pitying.
@anarchofuturist39763 ай бұрын
@@robertreck431 gosh she really is just like me fr. calling that broken as a person still feels bad. even if intended as pitying, it still feels belittling and kinda dismissive. people arent broken for being truamatized/burnt out, no matter if they age regress or not. it can be disabling, but nobody wants to hear that theyre broken as a person. being broken implies some kind of personal failing, something fundamentally wrong and shameful about you.

So wait, is this anything like that one family in Yakuza Kiwami 2 and Like a Dragon or is this something else entirely? Because I don’t think that family sees themselves as babies; they just want to be treated that way because that’s what they’re into.
@anarchofuturist39763 ай бұрын
its also a surprisingly common coping mechanism, but the two arent mutually exclusive. i imagine its probably both for her
@Rexaura8883 ай бұрын
@@anarchofuturist3976 I’m aware that the fetal position and having your arched spine up against something is considered comforting, and crying is an emotional stress reliever, all things babies seem to instinctually understand or remember, but as a coping mechanism and a common one at that? Never thought of such things taken to that specific degree until now.
@anarchofuturist39763 ай бұрын
@@Rexaura888 yea its called age regression. often its a trauma response thing, esp childhood trauma. it can be really comforting to enter that “little” headspace
@Rexaura8883 ай бұрын
@@anarchofuturist3976 So it’s a phenomenon. My only familiarity with something like that prior to this was I guess in a Priconne video I saw? IIRC some dragon girl acted like that for a bit before growing out of that. I thought it was a dragon/manakete thing since they tend to age at a different rate from humans, physically and mentally, but I guess that’s what that bit was based on or inspired by.
