As a Transformers fan, I am very excited to see how this movie plays out. Chris Hensworth doesn't sound bad at all as Optimus. You can actually hear him sound just like Peter Cullen when he says certain lines. I think the rest of the VA cast work really well with the rest of the characters, and the trailer looks absolutely amazing.

The reason they don’t have t cogs is because they are split into social classes or “functionism” and some don’t need any. The quintessons control the entire society to work for them. This is why certain bots, like the racers, have vehicle modes

I love how this is one of the first comedy based transformers projects, and I feel like this is essentially the mutant mayhem for transformers. It’s a good animated movie that came after a few ok at best love action movies. So hyped for this movie

Actually it's said that the marketing team is putting most of the comedy aspects into the trailer to lure general audience, you know, it's an origin story movie, it's a movie that a non-transformer fan will watch and undestand what's going on. This movie is going to show us the end of Orion Pax's/Optimus Prime's and D-16's/Megatron's friendship and start of the War of Cybertron. It is going to be serious. It's just that they want to lure more audience by comedy aspects, because you know, parents will rather let kids go to a movie that seems like a comedy rather than let kids watch a movie about the pretty much slavery and start of a brutal war.

The animation reminded me of the Beast Wars era, especially in the beginning of the trailer with the general shinyness of metals. I kind of expected the tone to be serious, kind of like the beginning of Bumblebee but as an entire movie maybe. Also i think the story is gonna be simmilar to the G1 origin too, with Cybertronians being the slaves for quintessons and then earning their freedom by learning to transform (basically what we see in the trailer btw). Tho generally it does seem just like ur average "Team of heroes go on an adventure after going where they are shoudlnt be, getting cool powers and learning what friendship is", so it just leaves me to hope for the best

I believe in this story Orion elita and bumblebee are all like megaton is in the comics and in this the worker drones like megaton and Orion don’t have transformation cogs, as well, I guess it would be a waste of them according to the higher powers or just every cybertronian has transformation cogs BUT the worker drones

Although people are already crapping on the trailer, I honestly can't wait to see what this is really about. Hell. The animation style alone looks so F'ing good. Chris Hemsworth as Optimus is awesome, but the casting for Megatron and Bumblebee feels off to me, just a bit. But I'll just have to see the movie and see how it goes. Definitely can't wait to see this in theaters
