But what if we were to step back from that story and look at the ways it plays out more broadly and how we - and our planet - are suffering as a result.
Many of us will have started to recognise that oppression and abuse appears in the very structures and institutions built to protect us - institutions that favour people who look a certain way, lead certain lives and were born into specific cultures and lifestyles.
Divine Feminism is about the energies that underpin this inequity; a way of seeing and being in the world that invites us to not only redress the ways those who identify as women are seen and treated within that world, but also to look deeper at the ways in which everything considered to be “feminine” has been positioned and treated as less than over the generations, lifetimes and centuries that have passed, and at the ways we and our planet are suffering as a result.
