Another KZbinr (I think it was Bitwit or etaprime) said in his video that you'll be able to throw SteamOS on any computer soon. Official SteamOS, not bazzite.

Well said. SteamOS is the best OS for handhelds. The more people using SteamOS, the more developers will support it in regards to anti-cheat, etc.

That rollable screen is a neat device. When the security software company you've invested in bluescreens all fortune 500 companies, the screen extends so you can continue to track the stock chart. Really cool.

I worked in IT at a steel mill a few years ago that would really benefit from the 900MHz WiFi, they have outdoor access points for all the forklifts zooming around and the stock yards since everything is done on computers & tablets these days.

Ok, so that's genius. A display that rolls out. I could see that being used in all kinds of situations. For instance, I don't really want a big ass display on my desk, but if I click my mouse, it rolls out and reveals itself. If I need more real-estate on my desk, it tucks away. Could also change dimensions (eg. coding, post production video editing). I expect to see more on that later.

That Lenovo tablet is really great, especially for android emulation. I reviewed and compared it to the 2023 model…and I ended up preferring the older version, but it’s exciting to see they’re officially bringing it to the states.

@1:55 The advantage of Snapdragon is their battery life. Why on earth would anyone use Snapdragon on desktop ? The power saving is neglible, but the compatibility issue is high risk.

I normalized the audio from Lenovo visit with the rest of the showstoppers footage as I had the mic to hot on the Lenovo portion initially.

These Snapdragon PCs don't stand a chance at that price point. Even if they halved the price nobody wants to deal with the software incompatibility issues. Even if priced at $199 they're a hard sell.

So, I guess no new Nvidia Shield for 2025 since NVidia is completely focused on the new video cards and AI? Did you talk to anyone at Nvidia's booth? Were you at the Sony opening? When they mentioned doing a Helldivers movie, I would have yelled out we already got one. It's called "Starship Troopers"! Driverless cars? Not on the roads where I am...too many animals and big trucks with unpredictability something no current AI will be able to contend with. But I like your tours of CES with all the lesser products, though too many seem to be prototypes and may never see reality. Wish I was there with you. Maybe some day...
