Ricky's century to bring it to 3-1 scoreline was gorgeous! Hope to see more great things from Ricky this year. Love to see him in the Top 16. Love the fact that he can shake off disappointment between shots. Great temperament, and has the skills to back up an attacking style of play. Long-time fan of Ricky's game! Really enjoyed the commentary here too - Shaun Murphy is a very natural commentator, reads the game really well from the commentary box. And Darren Morgan is another fine commentator, wish he commentated on more than just the Welsh Open. The future of commentary is in good hands... Great stuff Cesar. Thanks as ever my man... Much love from Ireland!

To see Ronnie so elated with Ricky’s win says it all. We all love it when Ronnie plays well, but when Ricky does it it’s even more special. Ronnie didn’t give him anything really, but Ricky and Ronnie had a great night and Ronnie would of loved seeing his mate play the game like he does and win! Fantastic game 👍

I'd love to see the likes of Walden win a few tournaments because he's top game is very very good especially his break building.Hawkins is another guy who beats everyone to get to finals but rarely plays well when in the final then.Do they think by winning a big tournament that it would really change there lives because if you look at Ronnie whose won over double the majors to the next best on the tour and he seems to be the guy he was when he won his first 4 or 5 majors back in the 90s.

I like the way Walden plays. I don't care for the camera angles that show his facial expressions while shooting. He lacks decorum for televised events because he always has his mouth open, sometimes with his tongue hanging out as he shoots. 😛

You know ronnie rates ricky , that match in China was a great showcase for ricky , if he was 2 or 3 inches shorter ricky would be top 10 for his full career, I'm 6 3 (rubbish at snooker) but I do play for hours when I get home my back makes me feel sick. I look at ricky and ronnies left handed action and it looks like a mirror image even the mouth they pull is quite alike.

Ricky could have potted a blue. got 5 points and play a safety but didn't early on in one of the games 🤔
@researcher39812 жыл бұрын
I have a question, is there a reason why when Ronnie or any other of these player play a safety, they always try to leave it up on the end rail behind the 3 or 4 ball; i knew a player in Pensacola Fl in the early 60's, who would go the three rails, and come up behind the 3 ball, when Ronnie Allen would kick three rails, and make a good hit Dick Hunziker whould go 3 rails again and end up right behind the 3 ball..this happened 9-10 consective times, until Dick finally froze the cue to the three. The first game that day Ronnie won, which was the only game of snooker Hunziker ever loss w/o giving up a spot he was 39-40 y/o at the time.Had beaten Chenier every game....my question: is there a difference on the 12 ft table over the 10 ft table, in makin gthat shot?

got tired of all the gimmicky layered tips too, delaminating, inconsistent, constant miscues from exposed glue, regardless of brand. tried Kamui, Moori, zan, and a bunch others. ended up loving milk duds (elkmasters soaked in milk and pressed till they're medium-hard), the tweeten chalk actually works amazing with tweeten tips, as it's designed to.
