The 140 was my Dad's first airplane in the early 60s. He called it his Model A airplane. Wrecked when it was flipped over on the ground during a windstorm despite the tie-downs.

How tall are you guys? I’m looking to get either a 140 or a 108-3. Im 6’4 so not super sure how well I’d fit in a 140

My uncle was 6'4". He was determined to buy a Cessna 140. He turned the control yokes upside down and had clearance for his knees and thighs. Flew it for several years and never spoke of any discomfort. One caveat: He may have had later model C-150 seats installed which are thinner in the lower portion of the seat that the OEM 120/140 seats. Good luck and I hope you find one that fits you.

Nice video! What do you guys use to record conversation on radios? 140 owner here love practicing my landings in it.

There are two ways; 1 lavaliere mic with a recorder into the cup of the headset. Or 2 radio aux out into the GoPro

That 140 is apparently a sentimental value 🤔. Personally I think it should be flying but 🤷🏼‍♂️.
