@givenfirstnamefamilyfirstn3935
@givenfirstnamefamilyfirstn3935 3 ай бұрын
@@BeeGamingBSS The ‘garbage LMOA’ comment was preposterous and deserving of zero recognition. For your interest it is a reliable gyroscope instrument which will resist being tumbled in the event of the aircraft going out if control and passing through extreme attitudes which could cause the more sophisticated attitude indicator’s display to tumble and display nonsensical information. An improvement over the original turn and slip instrument is that the turn coordinator is sensitive to roll as well as turning so it gives the pilot an earlier indication of a deviation from straight and level flight. In addition the turn coordinator is usually driven by electricity instead of the vacuum drive of the attitude indicator and direction indicator giving extra redundancy from power failure. Those instruments are admired and respected by people with any aviation knowledge. Is that enough?

@gwrproducts2488

The 182 is the greatest plane made for general aviation but the RG is over rated and a maintenance nightmare. That add on triples the annual’s price but only adds a few knots to airspeed. Worse, don’t ever forget to put the gear down or have a mechanical issue and are unable to get three green lights. 😢

@@McStebboh shit nice dude, I’m thinking of starting training, is it worth it? What were you main strugles?
@McStebb
@McStebb 2 ай бұрын
@@Icequake. It's definitely worth it, I love being up there. There's really nothing else like it. Here's my biggest pieces of advice. - Get your Medical certificate figured out before you start training. It took me 9 months to get mine and it delayed my first solo. - Before you start, get to a place financially where you can afford to fly at least twice a week, with no more than 3-4 days in between lessons. Especially in those first 20 hours, flying once a week held me back a lot. I didn't really start making progress until I started flying weekdays as well as weekends. - Don't get discouraged! There were numerous days where I felt absolutely defeated walking away from the lesson, worn out, tired, and inadequate. PPL training will kick your ass, but if you put in the effort to study between lessons and accept that failure is a part of learning, you will succeed.
