Definitely do. The 182 is an awesome plane to fly. You may not want to fly anything else after.

I combined mine with a Big Bear checkout (also flew out of Vista until an issue I had w/ 48SP - maybe I'll get back this year)

Big Bear is still on my bucket list. Was thinking about doing it in July but I am not sure it'll happen unless I go super early in the morning. lol

@@MikeSims1103 does the 182 give you the high endorsement endorsement? Also, is the G1000 course necessary to check it out? I have enough hours and know how to fly the G1000 but think it's redundant to spend $200 on a G1000 course when I'm already familiar with it

@@Low-N-Slow big bear id go in the winter especially if the traffic is bad or the road is closed. While everyone is stuck I can go there with friends or family and while everyone is stuck and can't go home I can fly back lol. But I'm most interested in combining runway 30 ans Catalina checkout. Catalina is a place I like I don't care much for big bear. I've been building specifically night xc Pic hours but next time I want to fly for fun ans hang out in Catalina and take the G1000.
